This is the long awaited story of KDA Radio and other pirate radio stations dating back to the late 1970's. Well I think it must have been about july 1977 when it all started! And how it started! ...Well!
I have always been extremely interested in radio since as far back as I can remember, and the first pirate station I ever heard was a station on Medium Wave, run by a certain person called (I think) Bert Williams. This guy has had so many radio stations over the years that I can`t remember what the first one was called.
Anyway,thats how it all started!
Transmitters
The first so called transmitter I made ,was from an oscillator out of an old FM radio connected to a low powered solid state output, only capable of about 2 watts output! (but we all have to start somewhere).
